"A kingdom plagued by an evil serpent sends warriors to face the creature with the promise of vast riches should they succeed. However, these warriors are never meant to return as the kingdom sends them as sacrifices, in the hopes that the souls of the fallen will stave off the serpents evil. A warrior from a far-off land follows in the steps of many before him, seeking out the soul-stealer's lair. Stumbling across it deep in the mountainous crags a battle ensues. Despite the warriors immense skill, he is defeated swiftly as the serpent binds him to a ritualistic slab where many had met their end. The serpent falters as it notices something strange. It is unable to feed. This man was without soul. Seeing opportunity in this the wry serpent informs the warrior of the sacrifices, of the kingdoms betrayal. Enraged by the deceit the warrior returns to the kingdom, now with the aid of the serpent, to exact revenge on those who wronged him. The serpent ate well that day."
